Effectiveness of Secret Clinical Strength antiperspirant/deodorant
I have used and trusted Procter amp; Gamble's Secret antiperspirant products for at least 15 years. They controlled odor, but I often experienced underarm wetness with them. I would have to reapply deodorant throughout the day to feel totally protected. Secret Clinical Strength antiperspirant/deodorant eliminated the odor and wetness.
The hypoallergenic Secret Clinical Strength has a light, pleasant scent. It has odor-fighting capsules that absorb body odor and release scent for 24 hours. Another plus is that it does not leave white marks on clothing which can be very frustrating.
Application of Secret Clinical Strength antiperspirant/deodorant
The 'weirdest' part of using this product is that it was designed to be used at bedtime. It works with the body's natural nighttime temperature variations. While this makes sense, it really threw me off as I have such an established personal care routine in the mornings. To wake up, shower, and not apply deodorant was very strange for me.
Secret Clinical Strength is dispensed by turning a control twist on the bottom of the container. The directions say to use two clicks of product to underarms at bedtime. It is called an advanced solid but it has a soft, creamy texture which is very different from any solid deodorants I've ever used. It dries quickly and left my underarms feeling smooth.

This deodorant was sent to me to review, at no cost. I was curious about the product's cost so I checked out prices at local stores for Secret Clinical Strength. While pricier than other deodorants, it is much cheaper than a prescription antiperspirant.
Secret Clinical Strength is available in original, waterproof, sport, hypoallergenic, lavender, and orchid. It contains the active ingredient of aluminum zirconium trichlorohydrex Gly 20% which is an antiperspirant.
Overall, I am greatly satisfied with Secret Clinical Strength antiperspirant/deodorant and would recommend it to others. If it can keep me dry and smelling good on crazy days on my school bus, I feel that it would work well for everyone.
